New citrus gall wasps have been found on lemon trees in Lochiel Park. Please check your citrus for swellings in the soft tissue of new growth. It is recommended to cut off the swellings and cook in the microwave before disposing to kill the grubs. Community garden and the orchard will be checked and sprayed ASAP. Eco-oil can be sprayed on your trees as a preventative measure.
